Office 2003, and reinstalled it into C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office 2003, to avoid possible conflict with Office 2010 installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office. RoboHelp did not export when Office 2003 had been installed first, before Office 2010. I also have Office 2003 SP3 installed, because I sometimes need to use it with Adobe RoboHelp when exporting files to Word 2003. It normally means I can't use the search until after lunch. Every day I start the PC, it starts to reindex. Unfortunately, it didn't change the situation. Can we prevent that from happening?Ī MS Support representative suggested I try an Index Rebuild.

Quite clearly Windows Search destroys the index pertaining to Outlook every time after rebooting and rebuilds the index once Outlook Items indexed increased from 69,461 upwards before indexing complete hours later with about the same number of items, i.e.Indexing starting from 1 and slowly builds up.When Outlook 2010 was launched thereafter, Indexer Status gadget showed:.Indexing Options window showed 69,461 items indexed and Indexing complete.69,461 items indexed remained unchanged when indexing was going backwards, presumably starting from 204,228 and counting down to.Indexing was going in reverse order (in decreasing number).Using the Indexer Status gadget I observed: 204,228 item indexed dropped to 69,461 items indexed.Laptop was shutdown and restarted but Outlook was not launched.Indexing complete with 204,228 items (up to date).Laptop was left on overnight with Outlook 2010 opened.Is there a resolution to this issue?
